When a loved one passes away in a nursing home or hospice facility their funeral home information should already be on file with the care facility. They will contact the family and funeral home, at which time we will begin make preparations to have your loved one brought back to the funeral home as soon as possible. One of our funeral directors will reach out to the family to begin discussing arrangements, if the death occurs over night the director usually waits until the following morning to reach out to give the family some time to try and rest.
